For a majority of my life, I got news instantly. I rarely needed to thumb through a paper or magazine. Nonetheless, I will always love and appreciate the written word. My very first class at Northwestern was Journalism 201-1 Reporting and Writing, where my professor emphasized the how writing is the foundation for everything else we do.
